About Nepal

Nepal is a land locked mountainous country situated between China and India, with a population of nearly 23 million people. Its topography stretches from the vast low lands of the Terai to the world's highest peak, the mighty Mount Everest (8,848 m.).
Nepal is the homeland of the legendary world-famous soldiers, Gurkhas, and the country of the Great Himalayas. It is a developing, mountainous and land locked country, situated between China and India. With a population of nearly 22 million people, it is predominantly an agricultural country with above 80% of its population engaged in agriculture. 

Nepal is abundant in natural resources, and because of the vast natural beauty coupled with is unique culture and tradition, tourism is rapidly growing in Nepal. The topographical features of Nepal are unique, as it stretches from the vast low lands of the Terai to the legendary Yak and Yeti trails of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest (8,848). TO sum it up, honesty, courage and simplicity together with an inborn sense of loyalty characterize the tranquil Nepalese way of life.

It is landlocked country with beautiful scene and lakes situated between two big neighboring countries India & China. Whatever it is on the line of world peace and brotherhood.

There are more than 22 languages and dialects spoken by different group but all can speak the official language - Nepali. 

The basic ethnic division of the country can be done geographically by putting Kathmandu, the capital at the center To the North, there is a predominance of the Mongolian race and to the south the Aryodravidian race and due to the mixture of both, we can basically divide the into the such races Limbu, Rai, Tamang, Magar, Gurung, Newar. Sherpa and Thakali, Brahmans and Chettri, Tharu etc.
